The In Kind Project's mission is to provide community programming in the arts for children of all backgrounds and income levels. For the past three years we have hosted a summer community theater workshop at the historic Poquatuck Hall in Orient, New York. We bring talented teaching artists in art, music, and theater to lead and collaborate with our program participants. With the inspired creativity of children of all ages and participating adults, we invent and perform original work. Our final production is open to the community in celebration of our hard work.
Donate
The In Kind Project was created to bring sophisticated programming in the arts to communities and children of all backgrounds. To realize this purpose and to make admission to our programs need-blind, we rely heavily on donations. Please consider donating today for this year’s programming.
The In Kind Project is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Albums
Children and teens in 2018 and 2019 Theater Workshops wrote original songs for the final productions. Listen to the albums below as performed by Teaching Artists Megan Lui, Elijah Fox, Kalon Hayward and the 2019 participants.
